In-Network Insurances

BCBS, Carefirst, Anthem, Cigna, UHC, VA-CCN

I work with The Lactation Network to provide coverage for many plans (but not all) with BCBS, Carefirst, Anthem, Cigna, Unitedhealthcare as well as VA Community Care Network. Unfortunately, this does NOT include Medicaid plans like Unitedhealthcare Community Plan or Carefirst Community Plan. Unitedhealthcare is also limited to in person, NO virtual visits. Check insurance coverage by clicking the button above. Both you and I will receive confirmation of coverage or denial. If you are covered, you are able to receive 6-8+ visits at no cost to you! TLN does not allow for backdating prior to approval date, please allow for this email confirmation prior to scheduling your appointment.

Aetna & Tricare

I am In-Network with Aetna and bill lactation as a preventative service. Most plans cover this without cost sharing for the patient per the ACA Mandate but there may be a limit or fine print to be aware of. If you have Aetna or Tricare please go to the button above and complete the form. I will be in touch within 24-48 hours with additional information. If not already confirmed, you will be responsible for verifying in-network status and your benefits.

I am also a Tricare Participating, Non-Network provider meaning I can submit claims on your behalf. This may require a referral or pre-authorization before your visit.

Out-of-Network Insurances & Self Pay

I bill for Out-of-Network or Self Pay costs at $100/hour. Visits may vary by length. Average New-Client Appointment: $200. Average Followup Appointment: $150. Average Virtual Appointment: $100

I am able to provide a Superbill for reimbursement if I am out-of-network with your insurance. It cannot be guaranteed that you will be reimbursed.

Pre-Natal Consultations

If a group class isn’t your thing or you have specific concerns, I am available for pre-natal consultations. These can be billed like regular lactation visits through Insurance or a Self Pay Cost. Insurances will not cover group classes.

Pre-Natal Group Education Classes

$40/Class. Support partners are invited!
